Our client is an established European company, and a reputable player in its sector, and the brief was to develop a transformation strategy for its wholly-owned Beijing factory, and to raise funds for execution thereon.

With a reputation for quality and safety, our client has built up a portfolio of blue-chip clients in China; we developed a strategy that is centered on this competitive edge with these themes:

  • Adopt a blue ocean strategy i.e. away from manufacturing

  • Technology enabled value-added service

  • Offline-to-online solution for immersive consumer experience

Over a period of 12 months, we developed and explored the strategy with a number of parties in the areas of sales, technology and funding.

Based on external feedback and assessment of internal KSFs, we recommended our client to migrate to manufacturing-tech hybrid model as an interim strategy before the full roll out of its tech and O2O solution.
